- June 20-22, 2008 - The Parade of Champions is a weekend celebration of Pittsburgh sports. It will feature athletes and sports activities at the History Center. The Parade of Champions is part of the Pittsburgh 250th anniversary celebration.

The exhibition A Panorama of Pittsburgh: Nineteenth-Century Printed Views will be on display at The Frick Art Museum. As part of the 250th anniversary celebration of the city of Pittsburgh, the Frick Art Museum presents
a history of printed views of Pittsburgh. Entrance is free.
